Araw ng Dabaw is coming, and the city is now busy with its
preparation. One of the highlights of the Araw ng Dabaw is the selection of the
prettiest lass from the city who will serve as a goodwill ambassador through
Mutya ng Dabaw. Previous title holder of this pageant is Mary Jane Lastimosa
who was last year's Bb. Pilipinas second-runner up and now also vying again for
the title this year.
This year's Mutya pre-pageant competition was held at SM
City Davao on February 28, with the special guests from Manila and who served as
judges were actress and performer and also Bb.Pilipinas-International 2010
Krista Kleiner and Bb. Pilipinas- World 2006 Ana Maris Igpit.
Highlights of the competition are when the beautiful girls
show their selves in long gown and awe us with their talents. We witnessed an
impressive performance of Krista by singing J.Lo's hit 'On The Floor' and
Jessie J's 'Price Tag' and the crowd went wild and danced when her singer
boyfriend Jay R performed as well.
It was indeed a great and wonderful presentation of all the
ladies and I'm wishing all the best comes final night. Hope I'm getting free tickets.
